SAP Digital Manufacturing for Insights (SAP DMi) – formerly SAP DMCi – is a centralized, cloud-based, data-driven solution for cross-site manufacturing metrics. SAP DMi is part of SAP Digital Manufacturing (SAP DM).

Uniform, clearly defined and thus comparable key performance indicators (KPIs) within and between plants
Real-time global visibility across multiple system boundaries to more easily gain insights
Rapid availability of data and analysis for timely response to deviations at global and local level
Standard production KPIs
By deploying a centralized solution in the cloud to analyze manufacturing performance, data from multiple disparate manufacturing applications can be captured and harmonized across plants. The system offers preconfigured standard production KPIs and the flexibility to add or create new KPIs. In addition, algorithms can be used for root cause analysis of quality defects, pattern recognition and suggestions for continuous improvement of manufacturing performance.
SAP Digital Manufacturing Insights complements and extends SAP’s existing on-premise digital manufacturing portfolio for digital manufacturing by providing the solution in the cloud.
