Monitoring of Ethernet Networks
The Trebing + Himstedt diagnostics solution now covers more than 80% of the Ethernet market
The cross-network diagnostics concept provided by Trebing + Himstedt has been enhanced with the two Ethernet protocols EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP for this year's SPS/IPC/DRIVES and is now able to cover more than 80 percent of the Industrial Ethernet market*. With PROFINET, EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP the TH SCOPE now supports the three leading Ethernet solutions which are used in the global market. Additionally, Industrial Ethernet devices, such as printers and cameras which do not correspond to any specific protocol, can also to be diagnosed.
The TH SCOPE functions for the uniform monitoring of Ethernet and PROFIBUS networks have also been enhanced with a consistent application of the ease-of-use design principle. Through this, a graphical topology is now available, which clearly depicts an overview of the actual network infrastructure and also provides status and bandwidth information. With the help of the historical trend dashboard the network quality can also be monitored over an extended period of time.
At the trade exhibition Trebing + Himstedt will conduct a live presentation of typical application scenarios for the TH SCOPE, including remote maintenance via a secure remote access, the supporting of the inventory through an overview of complete and current device information, the provision of diagnostic data in MS Excel, as well as an integration into higher-level systems.
