The Trebing + Himstedt DTM Library contains CommDTMs for network crossover for communication with PROFIBUS DP, PA and HART devices in PROFIBUS networks. These can be used in all FDT frame applications according to FDT Specification 1.2 + Addendum.

The CommDTM PROFIBUS DP-V1 establishes the connection to the PROFIBUS network and supports the Trebing + Himstedt xEPI 2 hardware as well as Siemens CP5512, CP5611 standard hardware or Field PG with integrated CP5611.
An integrated bus parameter test ensures non-reactive parameterization.
In connection with the xEPI 2, comprehensive PROFIBUS diagnosis information about network and stations can be displayed in the FDT frame application. In addition to this, the CommDTM includes a telegram logger for detection of communication errors as well as an integrated link for plant-wide network monitoring.

The CommDTM DP/PA Link enables access to PROFIBUS PA devices by using the respective device DTM.

The CommDTM ET 200M  and the CommDTM ET 200 iSP enable access to HART devices via ET 200 by using the respective DTM.
