Automsofts neue RAPID Version bietet erweiterten Support für Microsoft Clustering Services

February 8th, 2005, Dublin, Ireland - Automsoft, the leading global provider of advanced manufacturing intelligence systems to process industries, announced today the release of RAPID version 3.1. RAPID 3.1, the latest version of the company's award-winning database software, is designed to minimize downtime by providing an architecture that keeps the system operational and online even in the event of a systems failure.

Version 3.1 supports Microsoft Cluster Services, which extends the applications high availability capabilities. A cluster is a group of computers that work together to run a common set of applications and provide the image of a single system to the client and application.

Release 3.1 builds upon the success and global commercial acceptance of the RAPID product suite. This release also includes additional support for Batch Manufacturing. Enhanced functionality enables the integration of real-time batch information from multiple batch execution systems (BES) with other data from the enterprise to help improve batch and other event-driven operations.
